Personal Art!

Throughout ages man has been driven by creativity. Man cannot live without being creative, some are very creative others not so much. But to have no creativity is like ceasing to exist.

Art is merely the product of such creativity. There are no boundaries for creativity like wise art too cannot be judged. It is one's own self expression.

Recently, god knows why, i've been having conversations about art with many people. This post basically sums up my point which I am unable to convey.(Im sure even this post wont convey it )

As a photographer for me my photographs mean a lot, i have no words to explain their meaning. Many don’t have a meaning at all, they are jst few of my feelings captured into an image.

Coming to the point of selling my photographs, I cannot! my art is such an integral part of me, I do not show it to many people for a very long time. A lot of secrets hidden in them for those who can understand. thus it is impossible for me to sell my photographs.

Coming to the main point which has been the toughest to explain: What is photography to me??

Well, after pondering over it for days, It finally was revealed to me!

Standing there mesmerized by the beauty that surrounds, To feel it within oneself, through every natural sense organ present, then to snap out at that peak moment and take that one click is photography for me.

It so happens that people tend to like it, but I never intend it to be liked or disliked by anyone. They are merely a part of me, my feelings, my thoughts, put is a cryptic way allowing it to be decrypted by me alone. In the process if anyone does understand my photographs I have nothing against it.

Now this my contradict the fact that I ask for critique on many of my photographs, well its not that I rate it or anything, I ask those to critique who I think are closet in feeling what I felt while taking that photograph. To see if the same feelings the same thoughts, were felt as what reality would make one feel.

In conclusion, there are some areas of our creativity which are more personal to us, and they should never become our means to live. They should always be kept at a personal level.
