The missing element....TRUST!

I was recently reading an speech by Adrian Tan and i quote

" Fall in love… You may expect it to happen naturally, without deliberation. That is false. Modern society is anti-love. We’ve taken a microscope to everyone to bring out their flaws and shortcomings. It is far easier to find a reason not to love someone, than otherwise. Rejection requires only one reason. Love requires complete acceptance."

But i believe its not just love that lacks in today world, Its the element of trust. The reasons why we would start digging into flaws of another person are innumerable,but the root cause of this problem is trust. Since we lack trust we dig into others lives, Finding flaws,flaws which actually make each one of us who we are(sometimes unique). And again due to the lack of trust we indulge in blaming each other, back stabbing....the list goes on....

Trust, according to me is the most elementary requirement for human interaction.This being said, to trust someone is fairly simple,it wouldn't take too much of an effort, but to maintain this trust factor is the most difficult thing, Harder than just trusting someone.

To love, we must first trust.
