Humanity??

The internet has become the most important source of information for us today, but there is no evidence for the data provided to us.This poses a major problem for the time we live in.

Narrowing ourself to the mega networking site(facebook), I have noticed most of the information being circulated in different forms such as info-graphics or cartoons and various other attractive modes- most of it cannot be verified, and for starters it even fails to be logical.Unfortunately, it is being circulated and many have been victim to such disinformation.

Our govt has tried to take many steps to take control of this!unfortunately they have no time to understand the situation and act accordingly, and in the time they get between scams and jail they come up with super obnoxious ideas to control disasters caused.

First was Mr Sibal and his ridiculous idea of internet censorship, now in light of the Assam issue 'no bulk sms'->to which we say watsapp.

The recent happenings of Bangalore where a large number of north eastern Indians were forced to leave one part of their mother land just cause the govt wanted to divert our attention from the Assam issue. With this move, local political parties took advantage trying to increasing their vote banks.

but was this a successful?!

bad question!thanks to sites like fb they did not only succeed in diverting media attention but also bringing out the so called 'religious sentiments' people. Another issue to increase their vote banks.

We proudly call ourselves Indians but half of us do not even know the preamble leave apart following it.

Discussions on the current issues have become either a struggle of religious superiority or political propagandas! can we get out of this virtual world and realize as humans the loss of human life, instead of enforcing our personnel thoughts on others!

Recently on a discussion on internet censorship my friend pointed out 'an online post would get discussed and would ultimately get corrected'

This works perfectly well when the society works on intellect more than emotions, but unfortunately the large population of people sharing such posts are emotionally charged and intellectually deprived. The govt instead of coming up with absurd plans must drive to educate such people, and we as humans should learn to be human!

This reminds of of a beautiful song sung by Rafi:
