An advice.....

The last month was spent working on few bots for the IIT-Kanpur fest.

It was an experience which was unique in its own ways. This was the first time 'I' worked day and night. All the work did pay off,in a some-what different manner. The joy of converting your ideas into actual physical objects is unimaginable, and can never be expressed.

Here in this post i am taking up a topic which has to be pondered over by every student at the start of his\her graduate life.

As I've expressed above IIT-k was an experience of its own. One very important realization which struck me during my stay there, In those 3 days i spent looking and enjoying the different designs and works of other students from around India most of them in their second and third year of engineering, there was one thing common among all of them, which was also the biggest motivating factor for them, it was the passion towards the work.

Another very important factor when it comes to making a full fledged project is determination and dedication, which needs to be maintained till the end. If anyone wants to work towards their interests they must be prepared to spend a lot of time, which may include sacrificing a bunch of other activities, or at-least scheduling them properly.

Though i did put in quite a lot of time and effort into electronics i realized it was not enough. One of the greatest impediments towards my working was the fact that i did not receive encouragement and support of any kind from those around me. Additionally i made the mistake of binding myself to college work, which did not give me adequate time to work towards my interests.

Finally to all those of you who are reading this mainly, my juniors i advice you to take your passion more seriously than any other activities. It is definitely not going to be easy, but in the long run you will get the joy and satisfaction you always wanted out-of life.
